With the flow of money becoming ever more globalized and borders previously preventing international trade disappearing, the importance of understanding international accounting procedures and being adaptable is ever more important in the industry and will let you stand out from your peers.

Accounting is typically narrowed down into two categories: financial and managerial with both types being extremely important in every industry. Interns will typically have tasks including working with a senior member of staff to prepare reports, documents, invoices, and processing payments. You will gain working knowledge of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and shareholders’ equity statements. You will develop skills with financials, auditing, and tax reporting.
